Los Ricos Is Coming to Bethesda!

A new Mexican and Korean BBQ restaurant named Los Ricos will be taking over an existing 6,500 sq ft restaurant space with a large outdoor patio in downtown Bethesda. The new restaurant will only be a three minute walking distance from the Bethesda Metro Station and neighboring fellow anchors such as Starbucks and Morton’s Steakhouse. Los Ricos can be found at 7400 Wisconsin Avenue within the Hyatt Regency.

Greg Cho, CapStar’s Associate Vice President closed the deal representing the tenant Los Ricos’ Bobby Kim with the Landlord’s Broker, Tom Papadopoulos of Papadopoulos Properties. Greg has been in commercial real estate since 2008, focusing on Tenant Representation in the DC, MD, VA area and along the east coast.

Previously, the space was occupied by The Daily Grill, which decided to close during the pandemic, as most workers shifted to remote jobs. Per Greg, Los Ricos saw an opportunity to use the outdoor space as part of its restaurant. This area takes up approximately 2,000 sq ft of outdoor space, a great opportunity when extra space made a difference compared to the “Bethesda Streetery” on Woodmont Ave during the pandemic. Bobby Kim, the owner of Los Ricos, owns other restaurants within the state of Texas and Georgia and is expanding to Montgomery County.
