Special mentoring session in Las Vegas hosted by John Lin
The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) held its annual RECon Convention for retail real estate professionals on May 19-22 in Las Vegas. Six MRED (University of Maryland, Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development) students had a great real-world deal making experience by participating in a special mentoring session hosted by John Lin, the CEO of CapStar Commercial Realty, on the trade show floor. Everyone enjoyed the Vegas-style buffet on Tuesday night! In addition, student along with Carrie Chard were among the more than 30,000 industry professionals in attendance. Students took advantage of three days of education sessions, exhibits, and networking events.
