This past September, Fairfax, Virginia welcomed a new Japanese restaurant off of Fairfax boulevard. Fujisan is, “inspired by the Japanese izakaya style of informal dining, Fujisan Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar brings you contemporary yet traditional Japanese cuisine.” CapStar agent Fei Wang shared, “They did a very successful soft opening in August.”
Fujisan lists a menu of diverse Japanese cuisine. From salads to hibachi and many selections of sushi rolls, including the deep fried Godzilla rolls, the Chesapeake roll and Virginia dream roll. The restaurant has a 4.2 star average rating on Yelp, with many positive reviews.
Across Fairfax boulevard is a new housing community named Boulevard VI, which will build out 115 townhouses, 7 single houses, and 144 multifamily condos. The new housing should provide great business for the restaurant location.
